One Hex of a Weekend
Clue meets Bewitched and Nancy Drew with a touch of Hex!
It was all planned. A weekend away at an exclusive hotel in the Hollywood Hills where vampire PI Nick planned to have some alone time with his hexy honey, Jazz.
Except Stonegate Manor isn’t what it appears to be.
Jazz isn’t impressed. The hotel doesn’t boast spa facilities that seriously upset magick bunny slippers Fluff and Puff. A celebutante psychic is seriously ticking her off. Not to mention the old-fashioned bellhop is a zombie.
Where’s the romance with a kitchen that doubles as a slaughterhouse, guests turning into dry husks, and rooms that change in the wink of an eye. And what exactly is going on with the hotel manager?
There’s no relaxation this hellish weekend for Jazz and Nick as they search for clues on what’s going on at Stonegate Manor. And Jazz goes up against an ancient evil that just might be more than this hexy witch can handle.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of short stories but this is one of my favorites by far. We get another adventure featuring Jazz and Nick, and it's as dangerous as ever. This time the couple has decided to have a weekend getaway in an exclusive hotel but things are not as they seem. Jazz is her usual sassy witchy self, and dislikes certain guests right off. She also senses that things are not as they appear to be. As little things change, Jazz writes them off but soon her and Nick are thrust into a dangerous plot by an evil enemy. Once again, it's up to Jazz to save the day. Nick and Jazz are such a wonderful couple to read about and this time it's not their relationship that is rocky. They mystery and danger in this short story is even better than in the full length novels and leaves you guessing whether or not Nick and Jazz will save the day. You meet an eccentric group of characters that all play a vital role in the plans of evil. It's such a fun and thrilling story that I guarantee, lovers of this series will devour. I couldn't put it down and had to make it to the end to see how and if Jazz and Nick could figure out what evil was playing havoc in their lives and save themselves along with Jazz's mischievous sidekicks, Fluff and Puff. Do not miss this short story in this great witchy series. Warning: violence and some explicit content.

Hotel Hex edition by Linda Wisdom Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
Hotel Hex was another good read by Linda Wisdom. I love the whole series, its a light read about the paranormal . You just have to love the bunny slippers Fluff and Puff. I suggest reading the whole series in order. I don't think you will be disappointed.
An excellent short story involving my favorite hexy witch and her vampire hunk of a boyfriend. I will always have a soft spot in my reading favorites for Jazz and Nick stories! A couple that are so meant for each other! Linda Wisdom doesn't disappoint with this brief but truly page turning book! A little humor, a little horror and to my excitement quite a bit of Fluff and Puff! A pair of bunny slippers that are really quite the characters.
I read another book from this author and loved it that's why I wanted to read this book as well, but I was really disappointed. Firstly, there was a lot of spelling mistakes. Something a writer should never allow in their books. The book itself was also not written well. Things were left unexplained and the ending happened in a "rushed" way. I would not recommend this book.
I've been waiting for another book that focused on Jazz -- but this was not what I hoped for. The plot seemed rushed -- when there was a plot. The mysterious "hints" were way too heavy-handed. And, if anyone is expecting this to be a book, you're going to be disappointed. It's a novella -- at best -- an extra-long short story at worst. Give us a real Jazz book please.
I love Linda Wisdom and I have always enjoyed her books and I had such hopes but this one seemed rushed and not thought through at all. Seriously she's walking through a special room opens a box and Viola!!! Evils defeated? I love to read a book and be in that world with the characters but this one just fell short... I know it was just a novella but I guess I just expected more...
I love Linda Wisdom's tales of Jazz, Maggie, Stacy, and company but I feel like this one didn't live up to the others. It's a nice short story but she is usually so witty and fun that I was expecting more. Also, I don't know if it was the kindle edition but it felt like there was some weird editing. Still love the author and it's nice to spend some time with Nick, Jazz, Fluff and Puff but I would probably rather just re-read "50 Ways to Hex Your Lover" or "Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend" again
I love this series!! I enjoy Jazz, puff and fluff and all the characters. The repartee and the fully fleshed details really wrap the reader up and take them for an amazing ride. Sad to say, this book did not measure up for me. The characters were a little too blasé over the deaths of some secondary characters. Jazz at first came across as whiny and petulant until she had to go up against the Big Bad. Honestly, it was entertaining, but just flat.
